Properties: White powder. A little bitter, flammability, almost no poison. Rubber accelerator DPTU is soluble acetone and dimethylformamide, slightly soluble in benzene, carbon disulfide, chloroform, and insoluble in water, alcohols, tetrachloromethane, dimethylbenzene. The relative density is 1.27~1.33.
Applications:Rubber accelerator DPTU is middle-speed accelerator for NR, CR, SBR, NBR etc.. It shortens curing time without blooming and improves vulcanizate durability, when used with sulfur in NR or SBR. It is also secondary accelerator for CR or EPDM. DPTU isn’t applicable for articles in contact with food and mainly used for latex products, cables, water births and general industrial products.
